Full-time Established for Spring09

Posted by Joyce on April 18, 2009

Better late than never, we finally figured out the labyrinth of bureaucrats needed to contact in order to set the Banner codes properly so that online doctoral students are considered “fulltime” students at 3 hours per semester, 4 courses per year, and May attendance.

If you’ve been waiting on Spring, please check on Monday or Tuesday to make sure financial aid (and I’ve been corresponding with Gloria Priest in that office) has been released.

This isn’t a new policy, and it was working really well until the Banner conversion, but I think we’ve got it figured out so that you’ll get your financial aid and your federal loans timely from henceforth.

Many apologies for the tardiness.
